Lactase (ß-galactosidase) is a digestive enzyme that breaks down lactose in milk and milk products into harmless simple sugars, glucose and galactose. People lacking this enzyme are unable to fully utilize lactose which can lead to unpleasant symptoms. The lactase enzyme improves the digestion of lactose in individuals, who have difficulty digesting lactose.

How to use
Take 1 serving (1 capsule) with each lactose-containing meal, including protein drinks (whey, casein, caseinate, or milk). (1 capsule is normally sufficient for the digestion of 20-26 g of lactose. Approximately 400 ml of whole milk contains this amount of lactose.)

Bulking agent (cellulose gel), capsule shell [gelatin, glazing agent (shellac), color (iron oxides and hydroxides), acidity regulators (ammonium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide)], enzyme preparation lactase 15% [ß-galactosidase 44% (from Aspergillus oryzae), salt]. Manufactured in a plant that manufactures milk, egg, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, celery, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, foods containing sulfur dioxide.
