THIERRY MUGLER presented his first clothing collection in 1973 at the Café de Paris and in 1974 he created the brand that bears his name. He was known as an “impact maker” for his innovative way of using shapes and materials. In 1992 he released his first haute couture collection and simultaneously his first perfume, and as Pierre Aulas, his olfactory artistic director, has commented, "the success of perfumes lies in the strength of the unexpected, in the power of audacity and creativity without boundaries".
