Crusellas is a company that was founded in Havana, Cuba in 1863. In the same year Juan and José Crusellas, two Catalan brothers, opened a candle and soap factory. In October 1960 it was nationalized by Castro's revolutionary government and they were forced into exile. In 1967 Crusellas and company was founded in Miami and the new company began to produce "Kolonia 1800" cologne and "Hiel de Vaca" soap. Having expanded its product line and geographic coverage, the company has successfully worked in its new home for over 40 years.
