Ester-C ® Plus is exclusively formulated by Solgar and is a proprietary method of providing vitamin C at a neutral (non-acidic) pH to prevent stomach irritation. In addition, Ester-C ® contains the metabolites that are naturally found with vitamin C in nature.

A special manufacturing process is used to form a unique calcium ascorbate complex. Solgar's Ester-C® Plus also offers acerola, citrus flavonoid complex, rutin and rose hips.

Vitamin C has great benefits in colds, flu and infections as well as allergies, helping in the detoxification of histamine, wound healing, promoting and stabilizing collagen, and as an antioxidant, eliminating free radicals and protecting cells from oxidation.

This formula helps absorb Vitamin C 4 times faster than normal .

Ester-C Plus is involved in the production of vitamin C metabolites (threonic, lixonic and xylonic acid). These metabolites increase the viability of vitamin c by doubling the activity of normal vitamin c and allows:
