Milk Thistle BIO , from Vitobest® , is a supplement based on milk thistle seeds.
Published studies on milk thistle have revealed its mechanism of action and efficacy. The fruit of this plant contains three active ingredients (silybin, silcristine and silidianin) that form a hepatoprotective complex known as silymarin.
Milk thistle can provide many benefits to treat health problems. Its most common use is for liver problems, but some people claim that it can also help conditions such as cirrhosis, jaundice, hepatitis, as well as gallbladder disorders. It can also help lower cholesterol levels and control type 2 diabetes.
