The rosehip is a wild shrub in the Rosaceae family. It is cultivated, above all, in the United Kingdom, although the discovery of its properties was made in research at the University of Concepción, in Chile, during the 1980s. Vegetable oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds. Vitaroms Rosehip vegetable oil is obtained by first cold pressing of the mature seeds of Rosa canina.
