Olive leaf extract is an active ingredient of the olive tree and is found mainly in its leaves. The main active ingredient is oleuropein, a polyphenolic secoirdoid glycoside of elenolic acid, which is one of the most effective natural antioxidants. Olives themselves and olive oil also contain oleuropein, but the content is significantly lower than that of olive leaf extract.
