Taurine capsules as a dietary supplement. Health + Taurine capsules contain 1000 mg of taurine per capsule and may have some benefits as a dietary supplement. Taurine is a non-essential amino acid for adults, more precisely an aminoethanesulfonic acid, which is formed mainly when cysteine and methionine (both sulfur-containing) break down. In 1824 it was extracted and isolated from ox bile for the first time, for which it was given the name taurine, which derives from the Greek name tauros (= bull). An intake through food or a supplement is not absolutely necessary for adults, since the adult body taurine can synthesize up to an amount of approximately 130 mg per day. Taurine capsules are still recommended in certain situations. Directions for use: Take 2-3 capsules with plenty of liquid before a meal or physical activity.
