Glucofast is a starch hydrolyzate with a glycemic index of 115. Under isotonic conditions, Glucofast provides us with a greater amount of energy than monosaccharides (glucose or fructose) and has an osmolarity of 100 mOsm/kg. It is suitable for the delivery of large amounts of carbohydrates and the associated secretion of insulin. Glucofast is primarily used in endurance sports due to its exceptional ability to replenish glycogen stores and secrete insulin.
