BCAA stands for "Branched-Chain Amino Acids" and is the essential “branched chain” amino acids (the body cannot synthesize them on its own and requires consumption through foods or supplements to obtain them).

This, technically speaking, means that its chemical structure presents a non-linear aliphatic compound.

They form almost a third of the muscle mass and there are three of them: Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine.

Furthermore, they differ from the rest of the amino acids in that they are mainly responsible for the synthesis of muscle mass and peptide hormones such as growth hormone.

These amino acids are found primarily in foods of animal origin, and the limiting factor of optimal intake is, on many occasions, not consuming enough foods in the diet to cover our body's requirements.

Why take BCAA's?
The most studied proportion and with the greatest scientific evidence to date to stimulate the activation of the “mTOR” enzyme responsible for muscle growth, is the formula that we have used in our product, 2:1:1, which means that for each gram of Isoleucine and Valine there are two grams of Leucine.
