MicoVital® Shiitake is a food supplement based on extract of the shiitake mushroom (Lentinula edodes), of which exclusively the fruiting body is used. This mushroom has great nutritional interest because it contains all the essential amino acids and provides a good amount of vitamins and minerals, as well as fatty acids. In addition, it contains other compounds of interest such as beta-glucans and triterpenes (eritadenine and L-ergothioneine), with functional properties on the immune system and cholesterol.
The extraction is carried out by ultrasound (UAE), with hot water and alcohol. With this innovative method we manage to maximize the bioavailability of the compounds of interest found in shiitake.
