The function of the digestive system is to digest food and absorb the nutrients found in it. Enzymes must, first of all, break down ingested foods into their respective constituent molecules, so that they can be absorbed in the small intestine. The efficient disintegration of food is essential to release vital nutrients that must then be absorbed through the intestinal wall, through complex biochemical processes.
Bromelain is an enzyme that comes from the stem of fresh pineapple. It is probably best known for its use as a digestive aid, especially to facilitate the digestion of foods high in protein and fat.
This product provides 1250 GDU (gelatin dissolving units) per tablet. This is the measure of its naturally occurring activity level and is actually, therefore, more important than the weight of bromelain. Some brands imported from the United States exaggerate the GDU level per tablet on the front of the label (a description of 3000 GDU would actually be 1000 GDU).
Allergen note
The following list of allergens is excluded: wheat, gluten, barley, soy, eggs, milk and dairy products, lactose, nuts, sulfites, celery, fish, shellfish and yeast.

How to use:
If taken together with Glucosamine or Turmeric, take 3 tablets (1 between each meal), for 1 week.
Subsequently, as maintenance, you can take 1 tablet daily for 3 to 6 months. If taking with a digestive supplement, take 1 tablet before each main meal up to a maximum of 3 per day.
