Active and Stable Form

R-ALA is the stable form of alpha lipoic acid. There are products on the market with 600 mg of ALA, which is the maximum allowed dose, that mix the R and S isomers. However, the S isomer has no biological value and is therefore useless. However, in a mixture of this size, it is unknown what % of R and S are contained in the formula.

Pure R-isomer of ALA

This product exclusively contains 200 mg of R-Isomer, from purified raw material. The maximum daily dose is set at 300 mg. Therefore, it is recommended to take 1 and a maximum of two tablets a day.
