Ombar was founded in 2007 by three friends who saw the potential in a healthier chocolate bar. Richard, its co-founder, had previously experimented with raw cacao in his Cambridge kitchen and had been enamored of its superfood qualities for years, when he decided to take the step of sharing his artisan creations with the world.
