Product information Khadi Herbal Color Light Brown 100 G

Khadi copper light brown vegetable dye is a formulation composed of a selection of plants following ancient Ayurvedic recipes, which seek to achieve the desired color while taking care of the hair. Khadi dyes do not contain mineral oxidants, preservatives, color enhancers, water oxygenated, ammonia, resorcinol, animal pigments, perfumes, essential oils and are not tested on animals.

They also do not release toxic waste into the environment and are certified by the BDIH endorsement, naturally providing strong and healthy hair, helping to cover gray hair and giving shine and softness. You will need: Khadi vegetable hair dye, container of one size suitable, hot water at 50º or black tea (see below for exceptions), disposable gloves, old towel to protect clothing, dyeing brush, shower cap or plastic wrap, towel or turban to keep the heat of the dye,
Apply color to freshly washed, towel-dried hair. Wash hair first with a mild shampoo.

Mix the necessary quantity of powders with hot water at 50º or black tea until obtaining a homogeneous paste.

Be careful not to inhale the dust.

You can mix the shades of pure henna, amla and jatropha with a liquid at a high temperature (90 degrees), especially the reddish shades that become more intense in color the hotter the mixing temperature.

For indigo shades, the temperature of the liquid should not exceed 50º, otherwise, the color will become reddish.

It is recommended to apply the stain with a brush.

If it is not done by an expert, it is suggested to keep the optimum temperature, leave the container in a bain-marie.

The mixture should not cool down.

Start at the root and proceed with the application longitudinally.

If you part the hair with a comb, the application will be easier. Distribute the rest of the mixture throughout the hair, massaging with your fingers.

In this way, a uniform result is guaranteed throughout the hair.

Once the color is applied, put on a plastic shower cap or wrap your hair in plastic wrap so the dye doesn't dry out. Then wrap your hair in a towel or turban to keep it warm, the result will be much better.

The exposure time depends on personal preference and the type of hair.

Fine hair or hair damaged by chemical treatments absorb color faster than strong, healthy hair.

Leave the dye to act for 30 minutes (for light coloration) to 2 hours.

After the time has elapsed, rinse the hair with hot water to remove any residue until the water runs completely clear. If possible, avoid washing your hair or using hair products for the next 24 hours so that the color can set better.

Please note that the color can darken further. The color of the hair before dyeing and the structure of the hair are two factors that determine the final result.

It is always recommended to test the dye on a strand to avoid unexpected surprises.

Mix the powder of the vegetable dye with the hot water to form a more or less homogeneous paste.

If you want to use indigo also in the paste, make sure that the water is at 50º C.

The paste should not cool down or dry out.

Apply the paste to a strand of clean, towel-dried hair.

Keep hair warm.

The longer the exposure time and the higher the temperature, the color will be more intense.

The dye can be left on for a minimum of 30 minutes up to 2 hours, depending on the hair structure and the desired color result.
