Evening Primrose is a supplement based on evening primrose oil in combination with Vitamin E in softgel format (soft capsule). This oil comes from the cold-pressed seed of the Oenothera biennis plant.
Evening primrose oil is rich in polyunsaturated essential fatty acids containing 10% of gamma linolenic acid (GLA), belonging to the Omega 6 fatty acids.
The marked analgesic effect of evening primrose oil makes it widely used in situations such as premenstrual syndrome and other inflammatory disorders, although it is also effective in cases of high cholesterol, menopause, skin conditions, hypertension, etc...
