How to choose New Balance shoes

In order to best adapt to any type of foot, New Balance shoes are available in a wide variety of widths and sizes. To help you choose the right New Balance running or sport shoes, here are some tips when choosing shoes:

New Balance shoe widths

The standard width for men is D, and B for women. If most of your shoes fit your foot properly, these are the standard widths you should always choose. If you have to need wider shoes, we recommend choosing a narrower size and vice versa.

If you are between two sizes

If your feet seem to be somewhere in the middle and you are not 100% sure which size to choose, we always suggest choosing a larger size and adjusting the shoes using socks and insoles. In the case of children's shoes there are only two sizes; M, standard and the W, wide.
