Josenea was founded in 2002 as a non-profit entity with the aim of inserting people at risk of social exclusion into the labor market using the creation of small business projects as the main means.
The activities that are carried out have a high social and environmental value recognized for the quality of its products, for the dignity of its workers and its economic sustainability.
The company decided to base its activity on sustainable and environmentally friendly values, creating organic cultivation of aromatic and medicinal plants as a source of wealth for the territory. All this with the aim of creating jobs and promoting social and labor insertion.
People are given priority, giving disadvantaged groups an opportunity without forgetting nature. All the processes that are carried out are carried out under ecological and eco-sustainable standards.
Like any agricultural business, energy sources, machinery, and tools are needed. However, there are different sources that can be used. At Josenea they seek to always be at the forefront of technological innovations that guarantee compliance with ecological standards
Renewable energy: they have an installation of photovoltaic panels and a wind generator that allows energy to be stored in batteries.
Renewable energy sources are those that are produced continuously and are inexhaustible on a human scale. The sun is at the origin of all of them (Merino L., 2007).
Thermal energy : to reduce energy consumption, they use a black slate wall and a glass window that create a greenhouse effect without consuming energy resources. In this way they carry out the drying process of their products. When there is no sunlight to generate heat, they use an eco-sustainable boiler to guarantee a stable temperature at night.
Recycling and circular economy : the remains generated as a result of the activity go through a composting process to transform them and reuse them as fertilizer for the land.
Josenea produces and distributes only certified organic products, the vast majority of them thanks to raw materials from her Bordablanca farm in Lumbier.
An organic product that was produced in an environment in which "it does not use fertilizers and fertilizers, pesticides, transgenics, or synthetic hormones" (FAO, 2014).
Bio foods are those that come from organic farming, that is, they are obtained through pesticide-free practices, which also seek to promote natural balance, preserve biodiversity, and whose raw material has not been genetically modified. We can consider the term bio practically a synonym for "eco" or "organic" as far as food is concerned, so it is common to speak indifferently of organic food or bio food.

Lose weight: these products are made with the aim of helping to control weight. They combine tradition with ecological quality, using organic plants grown with sustainable techniques. Formulated with plants such as red vine, rooibos, red tea or goldenrod among others, this infusion is the concentrate of extensive knowledge on medicinal plants and all the efforts in R&D.
Biotradition: the infusions and teas are composed of medicinal plants from sustainable crops. From each plant, the portion with the most concentrate is carefully chosen to achieve all the medicinal and organoleptic properties. All Josenea infusions maintain their aromas and flavor, so it will be very easy for you to recognize each plant.
Biotisanas : a selection of 13 different blends designed to alleviate 13 different ailments. They have been prepared with the premises of achieving efficacy in their therapeutic functions and achieving a pleasant taste.
Bio seasonings : inspired by European culinary traditions, they have created a line of seasonings to add to our dishes. You can find healthy products without salt or with spring salt from the lands of Navarra.
