At Rabenhorst, only the best raw materials have been processed with the greatest care and with every conceivable effort into unique direct juices and nectars for over 100 years.

Only the best raw materials are processed in Rabenhorst juices, you can be sure of that. They give special importance to cultivation and select their suppliers according to strict criteria. A long-standing personal relationship with their growers and long-term contracts allow us to buy the high-quality raw material they want.

To ensure the superior quality of your Rabenhorst juices, our guidelines for purchasing raw materials go far beyond legal regulations. Here, the most sustainable possible cultivation of raw materials is important to us, whenever possible we source them from organic farming.

Rigorous and continuous laboratory controls.

Before raw materials are processed into Rabenhorst juices, they undergo rigorous incoming inspection. Hand-picked fruits are examined for common characteristics such as ripeness, color, flavor, and aroma. Fructose, acidity and vitamin content are also accurately determined.

In addition to this, strict laboratory tests are done to exclude unwanted uploads and inputs. For this purpose, Rabenhorst has its modern test laboratory and works with well-known partners.

Exclusive use of direct juices.

As soon as the fruit has passed quality control, the raw material is gently processed. The most important feature in the production of Rabenhorst juices is that they work without concentrates. They only produce direct juices and therefore maintain the natural structure of the directly pressed juice and its valuable ingredients.

In our in-house wine press, they also apply the Rabenhorst pressing once. Surely you know the extra virgin quality of your olive oil purchase. This higher quality level refers to products that have been manufactured in a particularly delicate way in a single press. It's the same in the Rabenhorst wine press, where they only press the fruit once and therefore only the best ingredients go into their juices.

Particularly soft padding

The direct pressed juice for its part becomes particularly durable. To do this, they employ a unique pasteurization process in which fermentation of the juice is prevented by heating to the lowest possible temperature (80-90°C). The unique filling technology keeps the input of heat and oxygen into the product as low as possible. In this way, the color, flavor and fragrance, as well as the valuable vitamins and minerals are largely preserved.
