The principle of this type of garment is based on the decreasing compression exerted from the ankle and gradually reduced along the leg, favoring return circulation and preventing the veins from dilating. The objective, depending on the degree of compression, is to relieve the heaviness and swelling of the legs and prevent the appearance of varicose veins. In cases of more severe venous pathologies, the garments of choice are strong compression.

It is important to note that the efficacy of this type of product has been subjected to many clinical studies over the years, with very satisfactory results.
