Mixture of flours rich in dietary fibers to prepare tortillas and pitas.
BioTechUSA Tortilla Baking Mix is a gluten-free vegan flour mix with which you can make tortillas and, if you prefer Greek cuisine, you can also make pita, the base for gyros.
The mix contains rice and sunflower flours, as well as corn starch, and bamboo fiber and plantain bran have been added to increase the dietary fiber content. Fenugreek seed extract and oregano provide a spicy flavor to the tortilla or pita.

How to use:
Prepare the dough: Pour 75 g of the flour mixture into a bowl, add 3 g of baking powder and mix well. Add 62 g of lukewarm water and 7 g of oil, knead well. Let the dough rest in a warm place (~27-30°C) for 30 minutes, then knead again on a floured surface.
Prepare a pita: Roll out the dough until it is 1 cm thick and 12.5 cm in diameter. Heat the oven to 230 degrees, bake one side of the pita for 6-8 minutes, and the other side for 2-3 minutes.
Prepare two tortillas: Extend the dough to a thickness of 2-3 mm and 24 cm in diameter. Fry the tortillas in a very hot pan for 2-3 minutes. Once prepared, consume them the same day.
