In 1881 Antonio Cerruti founded a textile factory in Italy. In 1950 Nino Cerruti, his son, took over the company. He moved the company to Paris in 1967, where the Cerruti perfume house began to distribute luxury Prêt-à-Porter with denim garments, sportswear, leather goods, watches, accessories, and fragrances.
