At just 21 years old, the French designer was hired by Vogue France as head of makeup, hairstyles and accessories for its Christmas special and later Christian Dior appointed him Director of Color. His great professional career also allowed Shiseido to trust him in 1980 to create its international image of makeup products. It was in 1990 when he launched his first Féminité du Bois perfume, considered one of the 20 best perfumes in history by the French Perfume Academy.
